One of our favourite houses in Barbados, Heronetta is the largest property to sit directly on the sands of Sandy Lane Beach. The unashamedly grand house sits in four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, from which a small gate leads on to 110 yards of coveted beach frontage.
There are two living areas and a library, and five double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread between the main house and the two guest cottages.
The house is pure Oliver Messel style, with spacious rooms, high ceilings and big French windows opening onto terraces and the lush tropical gardens. Elegant and refined, this is old-fashioned, elegant Barbados at its best.
The house has a large swimming pool and pool house and its own private tennis court and is within five minutes’ drive of the Sandy Lane Golf Course.
