Set at the end of an elegant drive amid hundreds of acres of protected private land, this Italian castello is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
Close to all of Umbria’s iconic sites and only ten minutes from Spoleto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that plays host to the famous Festival dei Duo Mondi each year, La Residenza is the perfect place to combine leisure and culture.
The house is set over three levels, all decorated with wonderful antiques, artworks and frescoes. It has its own stunning ballroom, library and a private chapel, along with spacious sitting rooms, various dinning areas and of course generous bedrooms kept cool in the summer by the thick castle walls.
A lovely pool is set below the house and has plenty of sun beds and parasols, plus a pool house with bathroom facilities and a fridge.
The house can easily sleep 13 and will host small parties or weddings. The charming staff have lived on the estate for generations and provide a continental breakfast and service for one other meal each day. They cook delicious, regional dishes using produce from the working estate.
This is just a small selection of the properties we represent around the world. We continue to travel the world looking for new, unique and exceptional estates to add to our presentation. So do call, we’d love to talk.
