Where to have a drink: At bar Napoleon III (Hotel du Palais) to watch the sunset, just like the iconic movie stars of the 70’s. Ask the waiters for a table in the restaurant Coté Maison and order the fois gras to share with a
bottle of Champagne.
Where to go for dinner: Chez Albert, best seafood in town.
Food shopping: Pâtisserie Loubère, ask for the orange blossom brioche its mind blowing. Maison Arostéguy my all-time favourite delicatessen in the world.
Fashion finds: Espadrilles and Parlementia merchandise opposite the market at Art of Soule. Men’s shorts and chinos at the locally established
L’Egoïste brand.
Antiques: Visit Pierre Julien at his shop on Rue Broquedis.

Where to watch the sunset: Ilunabar by the water, order the take off rum cocktail and watch the surfers on Parlementia.
Have lunch at Hétéroclito , sit outside on the terrace to enjoy the view.

On Sundays in the pretty church there is an 11am service in French and Basque.
Where to go for lunch: Auberge d’Achtal just below the church is a simple restaurant with very local food, they have great Cèpes omelettes.
Where to shop: Open on Sunday mornings is a pretty little antique shop Boutique Lennox
