A big infinity pool fronts the house and looks down to the sea. A spacious pool bar and dining area is covered by an unusual triple-height pergola roof and has an eight-speaker outdoor music system that is Apple compatible.

A luxury villa to rent by Panormos Beach, Mykonos, Greece

Boasting outstanding sea views, Villa Panorama is beautifully situated just above the long, sandy Panormos Beach.

Built by its discerning owner as a holiday home, the house features a main entrance level where the living and dining areas inter-connect, making full use of this large open space.

The kitchen is finished in contrasting wood, marble and stone and is beautifully equipped with top-of the-range appliances. Meals can be enjoyed either indoors at the wooden dining table overlooked by a local artist’s paintings, or outside under the pergola where there is a large (locally sourced) marble-based dining table. All the living areas on this main level have direct access to the pool terrace.

All the light and airy bedrooms are designed and fitted to the same high standards. The master bedroom and guest bedroom are located on the main floor, both with sea views and outside access.

On the lower level are three further bedroom suites and a separate queen-sized bedroom beside the pool that uses an outside bathroom. A large TV room with comfortable sofas is also located on this level.

There is also a new apartment here, which can sleep a maximum of six extra guests. It consists of a twin room plus an adjoining second bedroom with two bunk beds (four single beds). This is the perfect children’s room but could also be suitable for teenagers or indeed adults or a nanny. There is a generous en-suite bathroom and access to an outdoor staircase leading to the garden.

The exterior mirrors the style of the interior of the house. A long, rectangular, infinity-edge swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious terrace providing the perfect shaded outdoor living area complete with sound system, bar, the pool deck and outdoor dining.

The villa (inside and out) has been intelligently furnished and designed to allow for guests to enjoy their time together but also for privacy. Discreet glass panelling has been installed to one side of the terrace to give protection from the northern winds whilst preserving the far-reaching views afforded by the villa’s elevated position.
