Colina Verde is a beautiful villa settled in a remote coastal forest on the Machangulo peninsula in Mozambique. Colina Verde was built with local’s craftmanship and material to benefit the community.

Indoor, there are diverse living areas for guest to enjoy privacy as well as gathering. Indoor areas include a living room, dining room, study and game room. Throughout the house there are cosy nooks to curl up with a book or look out at the Ocean.

All the rooms offer privacy but are joined together under a large roof making Colina Verde the perfect place for extended families. Colina Verde has a breath taking view and accommodates groups of up to 18 guests in 7 bedrooms.  Each bedroom is uniquely designed and furnished to a high standard. The rooms wrap around the 16m heated infinity pool which overhang the Ocean. Outside, there are acres of outdoor terrace where guests can relax with a drink, soak up the sun and listen to the rolling waves.

There are many terraces accessible to unwind and soak up Mozambique natural beauty. And should you be adventurous, there is lot to see outside the villa. The brilliant Colina Verde team will be delighted to arrange activities like trips to Inhaca, snorkeling, beach bike, kayaking, dunes lunches, dhow sail and many more. Many of the team elped building the house and are from villages nearby the house, so both the area and Colina Verde have no secrets for them. Last but not least, the cuisine is an integral part of the guest experience. Indulgent lunches in scenic locations at the house or on the beach are always memorable, Joy, our passionate chef uses local and seasonal vegetables grown in the organic garden and always bases the menus upon guests preferences.
