This is an unusual stone Catalan house set in 16 acres of private land offering total peace and privacy.
The area is wonderful for walkers and cyclists, with loads to see and do and some of the region’s prettiest and most traditional villages nearby.
It’s also a real ‘foodie’ region and there are several very good restaurants, including some with Michelin stars, within very close reach of the house, as are the beaches of the Costa Brava. Girona and Barcelona can also easily be reached by car or by train if you’re looking for a little culture or a shopping fix.
The house has lots of flexible accommodation with one very good children’s room (three single beds).
One bedroom is located on the ground floor. The majority of the bedrooms have air conditioning built in and air-con units are provided for the others.
The house has spacious and stylish living areas, with plenty of interesting art work on display, bought by the international art broker owner.
A good kitchen opens onto a big shaded terrace with a large dinning table overlooking the pool and the wonderful views.
This is Catalan country living at its best.
