Situated close to the iconic village of Arcangues, in the heart of the Basque Country, a this newly renovated house is wonderful retreat for family escapes.
Beautifully restored by a local architect with great attention to detail. There are three en-suite doubles, two twins with bathrooms and a little single bedroom with a pretty wash basin/vanity unit. The bedrooms are spread over 2 floors; the ground floor bedrooms both have small private outdoor terraces.
The house is filled with a wonderful collection of art works by local artists carefully chosen by the owners. There is a large dining table for family gatherings, a very cosy couch area set around the fireplace and a separate area for watching movies.
The house opens onto a paved courtyard which is beautifully light in the evenings. A hidden door allows guests to step into the grounds of the chateau and gives access to tennis court.
The heated pool is set away from the main house with a summer kitchen, bathroom and dining area, it is very private and protected from the breeze.
The house has direct access to the road with space to park three cars.
