Brac Island is famous for two things: its radiant white stone that helped to build the White House in Washington DC, and Zlatni Rat, the long pebbly beach that juts out dramatically from the island’s south coast into the dazzling Adriatic.
While the latter is spectacular, it also gets crowded. Which is why we’d rather base ourselves at this breathtaking villa on the east of the island, near the charming town of Selca.
Tastefully renovated in 2019 and just steps from the sea, Villa Tessa is spread over four floors and boasts seven en-suite bedrooms, all very well appointed.
Life at the villa inevitably centres around the spacious sun terrace with views out to sea and the generous outdoor pool. Though just as much fun can be had indoors, with a smart living room and modern dining room for entertaining, a fully equipped kitchen on the mezzanine floor plus a kitchenette and wine cellar on the lower ground.
The bedrooms are split between the floors. The one on the lower ground is wonderfully private and has its own bathroom and separate closet. It would be perfect for a teenager. The master bedroom and an attractive twin room are on the mezzanine floor, which has its own private terrace, while the other four rooms are all on the first floor.
A garden of pine trees, olive trees, lemon and lime trees leaves you in no doubt that you’re deep in the Mediterranean, and adds a scent to the air that jostles with the breeze coming off the sea below.
This is just a selection of some of the villas we represent. We are constantly on the lookout for new properties to add to our portfolio and are always delighted to look for that very special house if you haven’t found what you are looking for. Properties are available throughout the year by arrangement.
So do call, we would love to talk to you.
