Corfu’s little sister.
Paxos is a beautiful, magical island. It lies an hour’s hydrofoil ride from Corfu and is just seven miles long and three miles across at its widest point, with a year-round population of 2,300.
Due to its size, Paxos has remained largely (and thankfully) untouched by mass tourism. It is understated yet elegant and sophisticated, with a way of life that’s unhurried and relaxing.
We think it’s perfect for families and couples looking to get away from it all, who are keen to be immersed in a traditional and welcoming Greek way of life.
Admittedly there are very few sandy beaches, but the coast is still gorgeous so rent a small boat and go explore.
