An unusual, recently renovated beach house right in the heart of the charming family resort of Ronce-les-Bains. The location of the villa means you can walk or cycle almost everywhere, including to the new and rather trendy Hôtel de la Plage with its restaurant and bar.
Perfect for families, there is a sailing club just a five-minute walk away, an ice cream shop at the end of the drive, and a merry-go-round for the traditional French children’s evening ritual.
The house has been beautifully renovated, with air conditioning throughout and a heated pool that’s ideal for younger children thanks to its large, shallow beach-style entry. The pool is fitted with an electric safety cover. A well-equipped summer kitchen, together with generous outdoor seating and dining areas, sits alongside the pool. At the front of the house, overlooking the beach and across to the Île d’Oléron, a comfortable banquette surrounds a fire pit – the perfect place to watch the sunset with an evening aperitif.
The bedrooms are arranged over two floors and open onto a wide terrace that wraps around both sides of the house. All can be configured as doubles or twins, and two of the rooms are particularly well suited to families with children.
Extremely well thought through, this is a wonderful multi-generational house and the perfect place to spend a family holiday while enjoying the pleasures of an authentic French seaside resort.
