This highly exclusive resort is just a short drive away from Park City in Utah, which hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and holds the Sundance Film Festival each summer.
A private mountain with only a limited number of ski passes sold each day, this is the crème de la crème of American skiing, with miles of pristine, well-groomed, tree-lined slopes. There’s no need to keep looking behind you here, the slopes are so quiet you’ll feel you’ve got them to yourself.
There are a variety of very cool places to stop for lunch, plus a cute village centre for evenings out.
Old fashioned politeness and hospitality abound here, from the well-mannered ski lift attendants to the friendly piste bashers. Just bear in mind that only skiers are allowed here, snowboarders are not.
