There are sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, a mountainous interior that’s great for hiking and biking, a Venetian castle set high above the harbour, wildlife sanctuaries home to deer and chinchilla, fields of wild flowers, and nature reserves where endangered loggerhead turtles lay their eggs in the sand.
