We love the south of France – great fun for all the family.
Who doesn’t love the south of France, with its wonderful climate, delicious food, myriad restaurants (from good-value bistros to Michelin Star hotspots) and great wealth of sporting and cultural activities?
The coast west of Monaco is gorgeous and glamorous, studded with palm trees and framed on all sides by piercing blue skies, deep-blue seas and snow-topped mountains in the distance.
Cap Ferrat remains one of the most expensive places to rent, while Beaulieu is a hidden jewel of the Riviera.
Villefranche is perfectly situated with fabulous views and offers easy access to Monaco and Nice.
St Paul de Vence is a step away from the crowds but near enough to pop down to the coast for a dip. Nice is wonderful and full of Belle Époque charm, while Cannes is as glitzy and gorgeous as ever.
Despite everything you hear about traffic, expense and crowds, the south of France remains our most requested destination. And for good reason – it’s fabulous.
