This magnificent 17th-century manor house comes with a huge pool and is surrounded by 73 acres of gardens, lemon trees and olive groves.
The house has been tastefully renovated, keeping the vaulted ceilings typical to Puglia and an inner courtyard where the lemon grove is situated.
The formal dinning room opens onto a spacious outdoor terrace that is perfect for al-fresco dinners. Breakfast is served in the outdoor courtyard while lunch is served by the pool.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and set off the courtyard. The other five are on the first floor; three have terraces and all have luxurious bed linens and towels.
One of the most extraordinary features of the house is the oversized pool (almost cricket pitch size). The pool house has a fully furnished kitchen, gym, hammam, and bathroom with shower and changing room.
The house is ideally situated only 10km from some of the best beaches in Puglia. Nearby are Ostuni, Savelletri, Locorotondo, Alberobello and Martina Franca in the beautiful Valle d’Itria. Lecce, with its history of art and architecture, is about an hour and a half away and very much worthy of a visit.

With Puglia’s ancient sites and unfussy charms, Italy’s most secluded coast makes a rewarding alternative to the tourist-laden north.
