One of our long-standing favourites on the island, Villa Levanta sits quietly on the northeast coast of Corfu, just above the sea, with a private jetty, a stretch of lawn down to a secluded beach, and views that steal the show.

Life here is all about the water: morning swims off the jetty, boats collected from the end of the garden, and long, lazy lunches at nearby tavernas only reachable by sea. We’ll arrange the boat (or boats!) — you just choose your favourite bay.

Built in local stone, the house is elegant and minimal, designed with space and sea breezes in mind. There’s a lovely flow from indoors to out: shady terraces, a big outdoor dining area, a built-in barbecue, and one of the best sundowner spots in the Ionian under the gazebo overlooking the bay.

The main house sleeps ten in five airy bedrooms, with a separate courtyard annexe perfect for teenagers or a nanny.
