Our recommended plan for Panama is to fly into Panama City and spend a night upon arrival and another before departure at the American Trade Hotel in the city’s lovely colonial Old Quarter. While here we suggest you visit Frank Gehry’s Museum of Biodiversity and of course the world-famous canal and its accompanying museum.
AMA Estancia, our villa in Panama, is located in an unspoilt region of hills, rivers and beautiful coastline. Guests are invited to tour the 450 hectares of property through a network of trails, either hiking, mountain biking or on horseback, and observe the many different birds, monkeys, coyotes and other animals.
The best months to visit AMA Estancia are December through to August. From December to April there is little or no rain. From May to August it can rain hard for half a day but overall the weather remains very pleasant and when the sun is not out all day, it remains cooler and better suited for outdoor activities.
