A new sublime estate on the quiet and unspoilt, west coast of Corfu, looking out to the island of Kiradikea. This is the ‘other’ Corfu, as yet without the crowds and the glam. Unspoilt, authentic and truly beautiful. This wonderful estate was built to be self sustainable, and ensure minimum impact on the environment around it.
The house is set high up on a cliff, surrounded by pretty gardens with a myriad of different places to sit and enjoy the stunning 180 degree views and the peace and quiet. The large infinity pool sits close to a covered terrace and is furnished with plenty of attractive sun beds and parasols.
The ground floor living area is spacious and hosts an open kitchen with access to the covered veranda, featuring 5 iconic stone arches that run the length of the house. A circular stone staircase leads to the upper floor where attractive curved walls lead to the four main bedrooms, fronted by big glass, arched, French windows that open up onto the balcony and the amazing views. Two have free standing bath tubs.
The lower level has a fifth bedroom (no windows) and atmospheric circular bar area; great fun with a ‘night club’ ambiance.
The house has a very ‘zen’ feel to it and is spacious and airy with an eclectic mix of furnishings.
For those looking for an authentic Greek island experience but with easy connections… and a big dollop of luxury.
