Sat snug in the foothills of the Luberon mountains, this pretty, luxurious and south-facing property sits in nearly three hectares of land, including vineyards, olive groves and some attractive landscaped gardens.
Roses and hydrangea decorate the courtyards, water flows from several fountains and there are terraces to capture both the sun and the shade.
A long shady path leads to the swimming pool area and a full-size tennis court. The pool area is situated on a higher level than the other terraces and has an amazing view over the Luberon, the garden and the vineyard. The fully-equipped summer kitchen will allow the parents to indulge with a late lunch by the pool, while staying with their children.
Indoors all rooms have kept the authenticity and charm of the old mas (traditional Provencal farmhouse) but are equipped with the latest technology. Film lovers, for example, will especially enjoy the cinema room, complete with superb-quality sound system.
The layout has been designed to let sunshine flood into the whole house. The furnishings are of a high standard and include a grand piano. There is also a library and a lovely view of the garden and Luberon from the reception room.
Three of the bedrooms are accessed off the courtyard so there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out through this comfortable and characterful house.
A housekeeper lives on site, in a separate cottage and takes enormous pride in looking after guests.
A perennial Provencal favourite.
