Villa Aquamarine is an impressive, traditional, south-facing villa, situated on the Croatian island of Brac in a prime position on the Putinak and Ruzmarine peninsula on the island’s south coast.
The villa is built over three levels on a headland of a small quiet bay and nestles in the pine trees. Built of traditional Brac stone, the house is one of the largest on the island.
Stepping down to the water’s edge, Villa Aquamarine is perfect for fishing fans who can dangle their lines from the jetty or for those wishing to paddleboard or kayak.
The covered dining terrace has fabulous views across to Hvar and there is a pool and jacuzzi under the trees in the lower garden area.
There are six bedrooms, all of which have views of the Adriatic and are stocked with high-thread-count sheets and a variety of pillow styles to choose from.
Brac is home to Croatia’s most famous beach, the Zlatni rat (‘golden cape’) – a finger of fine sand protruding from the coast by the small town of Bol.
