This pretty house is one of our favourites on the island, set in an enviable position above Falmouth Bay and within walking distance of Pigeon Beach and English Harbour.
The house has been completely renovated and mixes painted wood ceilings with cool stone floors and ceiling fans, giving it buckets of personality and a feeling of laidback chic.
The first floor has a large, open-plan living area with a high vaulted ceiling. At one end is the open-plan kitchen with a huge breakfast bar and dining table. At the other is a large and welcoming seating area with deep sofas, armchairs, bookshelves and a television.
The entire front of the room has floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors that open onto a huge terrace with wonderful views of Falmouth Bay and the boats in the harbour. The terrace has an outdoor sitting room and a table for al-fresco eating, perfect for breakfast.
In the garden, the pool and sun terrace overlook the bay and a pretty gazebo shelters another eating area with a large round table and chairs for 12.
A wonderful house in a great location, within easy walking distance of many of Antigua’s liveliest spots.
