Ithaca is the second smallest and least developed of all the Ionian Islands. There is magic at every turn: dramatically beautiful, rugged, green and mountainous with steep blue bays and charming little harbours and villages. It is arguably one of Greece’s most beautiful islands.
The villa is located in the north-east of the island, a ten-minute walk (or five minutes using the RIB that comes with the house) from the village of Kioni, one of the nicest villages on the island. As well as three beaches, there are several tavernas and bars here, and some pretty shops, a good grocery store for provisions as well as a good bakery.
Villa Kioni is very private with spectacular views across the bay and out to Meganissi and Lefkada. The trained staff are available to take guests out for watersports or to visit nearby beaches and over to Kioni village when required.
The owner is an interior designer and the accommodation is beautifully modern, light and spacious, presented with comfort and style. Cool white walls have splashes of colour provided by paintings and cushions.
The bathrooms are fresh and modern and the pool area is big and generous with a huge table under the shaded pergola for a stunning setting at night.
The villa RIB is a major plus and means there is no need to rent a car, although some of our clients do rent an extra RIB for added flexibility. There are waterskis and wakeboards for gusts to use, along with a paddleboard and a kayak, which can be taken out from the private pontoon below the house.
